I'm not a hippie, but I have always liked this symbol. Back in the sixth grade, I wore a pair of huge red earrings of the symbol. I made this image myself with a circle and straight lines and then painted it with a blue filter. The hand symbol came from the Font Wingdings and pressing Shift+A. Please favor if you wish to use it. Thank you!
I've always been a pacifist; I even wrote my senior research paper over three possible ways to achieve world peace (well.... one of my senior research papers; the other one was over the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest).
very nice stamp, indeed; I'm most definitely using it!!!!

Oh, thanks! I'm realizing Stamps are a way of supporting something because they're too small to show much of any image. The two fingers, though, can be a controversy symbol (if you recall the change in the poster art for What a Girl Wants) so, I started doing little support things in my Corel program.
I already made a Raph one, two to be exact. One with the first movie and then the sequel. I'm putting up my Stamps in a certain order, so it'll go with my TMNT set.
Oh, have fun in D.C.! Go to the Smithsonian and check out Judy Garland's Ruby Slippers for me, will ya?
Haha, or as my dad liked to joke with the two fingers, "A Roman soldier ordering five beers." The two fingers also stand for "Go Team Venture!" Heh, my own friend loves "Venture Bros."
Aww, bummer! My only time going there was in 1991 and I acted up with the other kids than looked around. Huge mistake! Still want to see the pics, though!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
All around the world deviants are bundling up for the cold winter. While inside with the fire blazing sipping from a mug of hot chocolate they fire up Photoshop...but what do they create? They look out the window to see the snow delicately falling and suddenly it hits them, the Joys of Winter!

I never thought of it being a controversy symbol..... I always thought of it standing for peace. (or victory, in Winston Churchill's case.)
