The words 'at peace' come to mind when looking at this drawing. The wings are gorgeously detailed and were given much attention for these holy subjects. With the color of blue used here, there is a feeling of calm serenity. The color yellow, meanwhile, represents joy and cheer, like the color of the sun on a bright, warm day. The subjects have no real specifications to their figures, thus they could represent both genders of the world. Plus, dA possibly would get upset if too much detail went into the private parts no one dare speaks about in public. Heavenly beings make this piece very positive and very spiritual.

CommentsDevious CommentsThank you thank you! I was planning on just yellow and white...but the blue I thought would create a more colorful piece, unlike the Red from the Evil one, the blue and yellow shows that Good is so powerful it has two colors, haahaa.
Yeah, not to mention how embarrassed I'd feel getting references for men's parts. Urk....it was lucky my dream had the angel transgendered. It also made it more interesting, like good does not favor male or female of the other, there is equality...but too much good creates blindness to natural neutral desires the mix of good/evil, and one can forget and get too caught up in heavenly virtues to enjoy themselves. Hence these angels are so peaceful and perfectly faced, etherial and 'straight' with their eyes and form. -- Sweet heaven, I see the light. I feel...love and life; sun and shine. But here in this Hades I cannot touch... The forbidden angels of love cannot save me. I see the demons of your hell. I kiss the angels of your despair. Right, excellent choices to pick with that. Blue is very deep and calm, something I used for a piece I should post...soon.
*sings* "What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us? Just a stranger on bus trying to make his way home?" You're welcome! -- Check out The Game's Afoot! I am Bartholomew in The Disney Directory's Character Claimers' Crew I am a personal believer though that there is no God in that sense, but what we call God is just an ideal that still has yet to be truly classified, of the energy of the universe, not a somewhat separate powerful being or form.
So, my ideals here show not God but entities in form that personify it, not that I believe that angels actually exist in this christian representational sense. -- Sweet heaven, I see the light. I feel...love and life; sun and shine. But here in this Hades I cannot touch... The forbidden angels of love cannot save me. I see the demons of your hell. I kiss the angels of your despair. Yeah, I believe in there being higher forces at work here, something definitely unexplainable. Believing in the supernatural, spirits, angels, demons, non-human creatures, forces stronger at work. Somethin's out there.
