My story:
For the first time ever in the seven years I've been employed at my grocery store, I had a paranormal experience. Monday night, I was working till 9 with a co-worker who was working till 11. I left her and my department to take a cart full of old chickens to dump in the bone barrel in the meat department cooler. I usually go through a pair of double doors, past the small room with the restrooms and dairy cooler and onto another pair of double doors that lead to the warehouse. At a T-section, I make a right and walk down the long path past the receiving dock and even further down to another huge door that leads to the meat department cooler.
Just as I got to the meat department cooler door and opened it, someone distinctively said, "Hello?" I heard it loud and clear and I thought it was a customer who had pushed through the double doors at the other end of the hall near the restrooms. I looked down the hall and saw no one. It sounded like a young boy's voice, so I thought it was Dillon, a courtesy clerk with a very young-sounding voice. I called out hello as well and waited. "Hello?" The voice repeated! Now, I was shaking and my heart was pounding. Twice a voice called out down the hall and I couldn't see anyone.
I finally gave up and looked inside the cooler to see Brian, a meat department clerk standing there. I asked, "Did you hear someone say hello just now?" He goes, "Yeah, you did!" He obviously didn't hear the other voice in the warehouse.
From A. Polasek:
My brother and I were both home for the holidays several years ago and decided to go Christmas shopping together one evening. We drove via the interstate to get to the mall, but when we called to tell my mum and dad we were heading home, they told us a back way that would get us home quicker. Neither of us knew the area at all, so naturally we got lost. At about 11:00pm we found ourselves driving down this deserted back road, of which there are many in the rural South. No street lights, not even reflectors on the median strip. I mean black. We must've driven down this road for ten or fifteen minutes when it suddenly came to a dead end. There were no side roads, no houses, just an end to the road and thick woods surrounding.
We did a three point turn and decided to back track into town. After we'd been following the road for about five minutes, we saw a pair of headlights appear... behind us. There wasn't anywhere at all for this car to have come from. We both got really creeped out and just then our own headlights lit the figure of a man walking along the roadside. We had not passed him on our way down the road and we were too far away from any connecting roads for him to have gotten there after us. He made no acknowledgment of us as we sped by, but at the moment the mysterious car behind us would have passed him too, their headlights went out and we could no longer see either the vehicle or the stranger in the road. When we reached the junction of the back road and the main, we stopped for gas. While my brother pumped and paid, I watched for the duration, some ten minutes. No hint of the car, though it was headed toward town and had ample time to reach it. Needless to say, we never took a shortcut in that town again!

Devious Comments
You've had some interesting encounters. I've only had one official ghost encounter which I think I told you before, at the theatre I work at. But no, nothing else I'm sure is ghosty.

Sweet heaven, I see the light.
I feel...love and life; sun and shine.
But here in this Hades I cannot touch...
The forbidden angels of love cannot save me.
I see the demons of your hell.
I kiss the angels of your despair.
