I have posted here and there to comments, but really, I've noticed I've seriously fallen behind on interaction with you all and I sincerely apologize. My last submission was the tribute to Wayne Allwine and that was a month ago. Then, my last journal entry is dated May 28 when I was briefly checking in from another period of silence. I'm not ignoring anyone, really, there's just a lot of stuff going on in RL that's causing me to be so quiet or unable to keep up with things.

Got to see Dad Saturday afternoon. Christine and I both had lunch with him and our step mom. We got him a funny card and a gift card to Rubio's Baja Grill. Lunch was delicious. We ate at Hernadez Hideaway off of Del Dios Highway, a restaurant I've been to many times and enjoy the atmosphere. Christine and I split the lobster burrito and it tasted exactly like from La Tapatia. Absolutely delicious. For the actual Father's Day, he had other plans, so we went with Mom to DL for the day. I got to see the new Basil and Dawson sculptures up close and personal. A Cast Member was kind enough to let me hold and photograph with them, too. I'm so in love with them! Maybe I'll put that picture up on here so that you can see them.

Another reason for my distance is I had to wipe the hard drive on the computer again. One of the flash drives has a ton of irreplaceable files that I can't access. The computer is saying it wants to format it, and if I do, it'll erase everything on it. I need to find some sort of data recovery program for flash drives so that I can get my files back safely. Christine and I did some shopping around for a new computer at Fry's after lunch with Dad to do some price checking and to see what I could get at an affordable price. I don't need fancy, just something that runs faster and able to support all my programs.

Oh, and very sorry, I don't think I'll be entering the summer contest over at ~gmd. My whole right arm is in severe pain and it hurts to do anything with it. The same injury I got last year from work activities is flaring up like you wouldn't believe. I can't bend or move it too good. I often feel a tingly sensation when using it. I think I need to go see my workman's comp doctor again. My work won't like it, but I don't know what else to do.
